Les Deux Colombes is a bustling restaurant crammed full with tables and people to make for an incredibly casual, fun and lively place to eat dinner. When we walked in almost every table had escargot and so we knew we had to try it. I would absolutely recommend it, it is warm and buttery and just incredible. The menu is full of great local options so take a pick and try something you’ve never tried before and I promise you won’t be disappointed. This is a great spot to unwind at the end of a great day of exploring, the lively environment and incredible food just make it a place you want to stay all night!
Absolutely fantastic experience! Came for lunch with a group of 4 with a baby and everything ordered exceeded expectations. Our favorites were the Cote DU Rhone wine, onion soup, and duck. Delicious! Service was also above and beyond. Definitely make a reservation.
The standout was definitely the confit duck, incredibly tender and full of flavour. It paired beautifully with the mushrooms and potatoes, and the sauce was absolutely bussin We also tried the Buddha bowl, which was surprisingly refreshing and flavourful for a salad bowl. The textures were well thought out and everything came together nicely. The onion soup could have used more depth, it needed more caramelisation for that rich, savoury hit. And while the cheesecake was fine, it felt a bit mid, the texture and topping could use some improvement. Overall, a very solid spot with great mains. We’d come back for that duck alone!
We were lucky to get a table here — shortly after we sat down, the place was completely full. That’s when we realized how popular this restaurant is. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
What an experience. The food, the atmosphere, the service, it was all incredible. For the mains we shared the lamb and duck confit. 10/10 for both. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Paris!
Booked this place this morning after reading the reviews and we were rewarded to a delightful experience. Chill and friendly staff and yummy flavors of our selections. Had a problem with the online res system (probably me) but our host was able to accommodate our table for two. With wine, a shared starter and a cheeseburger and lasagna entrees you’ll spend around 80-90 €.
This eatery may be modest in size, but it buzzes with energy. Despite the constant flow of customers, the service remains warm and efficient. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the confit de canard. Deserve a solid 5 star.
Small but very cute authentic restaurant. We came back after last years visit and again we were not disappointed. Absolut friendly and service oriented staff. Food was very delicious! Try the frog legs! We faced our fear and the mind plays more ticks on you. Tasted pretty much like chicken and the marinade was very tasteful. The rest was incredible and we will be for sure back again.
